Communication is a 2-way street, from the sender to the target. If the target can't understand the sender's meaning it is often seen as a problem only for the recipient, but often the sender is to blame, failing to consider the target audience.

This could be because of difference in culture or experience, sometimes age is important in that. Many, many times it is not, as we live more and more in a knowledge economy. If you have the knowledge and can help someone, where does it say that the person will not listen to you because you are young?
