You can help your readers by adding a translator page element.
Customise your blog, and go to the Template/Page Elements screen. Add a new HTML/JavaScript page element. Leave the Title empty and copy-and-paste the following content before saving the changes and viewing the blog.

...tough on the causes of non-blogging. New timetable changes means that I'll be replacing neophyte blogger, Sheila, on Thursdays with the N4OG-B group. Sheila's done a sterling job, as ever, in learning and teaching blogging skills, but I'm the chap responsible for the course, and it makes sense that as well as writing the course, that I'm delivering it too.
I've also been running my own blog for over a year, with just over 6,000 people worldwide having read the blog (since I started keeping statistics in February); reading text, looking at photographs, watching YouTube feeds, following links and making comments. I've been interviewed for a couple of podcasts, one of which is available on iTunes, whilst the blogging one is being edited.
So I know how important blogging is to the world of Web 2.0, and hope to get the same enthusiasm across to the class. It is your chance to show the world your skills, and your chance to give potential employers a chance to see what you can do for them.
After two evenings of editing photographs, here is my first attempt at using a montage to capture the haphazard ruins of Slains Castle.

Bloggerheads is back in the Blogosphere. Posting the news that The Man don't want you to read. Whoever The Man is to you. Why did the security guards taser a student merely for speaking their mind (and they didn't even swear)? It's there. You might not agree with all the angles, but the questions are out there. And in a mature democracy, isn't that the right way to conduct business? Asking the awkward questions, ignoring the spin, and finding out The Truth.

This weekend I was mainly taking photographs (and getting a haircut).
After having a short time up town on Saturday getting the aforementioned haircut and bought a copy of "Pan's Labyrinth". I saw Del Toro's "Devil's Backbone", which was an excellent story and well shot. He has a great imagination.
So, I headed down to the beach with the 2nd hand tripod that arrived from eBay, and a stepping ring that allows me to use my 58mm filters on the 52mm zoom lens. Stepping down the coastal defences, the warmth of the town was swamped by a cold on-shore breeze.
A warmer Sunday found me at Slains Castle. Despite being on the same coast, there was hardly a breeze above the cliffs.
I have about 150 photos of the castle, but I'm using them on a new project. If it works, I'll post a sample here.
Oh, and this is the first post here using Windows Live Writer. It is my editor of choice, but requires a download, so won't work on College accounts.
