Mistie Fittie

Down at Fittie with a pal, taking photos. Some at 30sec exposure.

No lens flares, or mist added, only manipulation has been some level balance, cropping and resizing. I love the wee remote control unit - it means I can set up the camera on the tripod, and press the remote unit without even touching the camera. Another great cheap buy from eBay.

The last three photographs would be in the old quarter?
They certainly look great.

Those of us that haven't invested in RC units are doomed to use the timer. :/

Thanks for the kind comment, Hugo. Out of 49 shots taken, these were the ones worth posting. But that's the benefit of digital.

You are correct, that was the old fishing village. As there were no passing Dickensian characters to photograph, the cat had to do. A great place for atmosphere. Especially as I'm more drawn to the sea than the land. Suppose it comes from being brought up in the Hebrides.

The main difference between the timer and the RC unit is that you don't have to wait for the 10...9...8.. countdown, just press the 1-second button on the unit and the camera goes /click/. means less shots where a car of bird or cloud moves in to shot in the 10 seconds.

IIRC, it was less than a tenner delivered from HK via eBay.
